Children's
Ministry
Mission: To teach children to follow the Greatest Commandment; to love
God and their neighbor.
“Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
In Children’s Ministry at NPC, it is our prayer that each time our children come to this place, they will experience Christ’s grace and truth and begin to see themselves as a part of a God’s Kingdom, in the presence of the King of Kings. We seek to walk alongside parents in understanding God’s covenant promises to His children and in nurturing a faith that equips them for a lifetime of loving and serving the King.
What’s Happening In Children’s Ministry @ NPC:
On Sunday Mornings, we provide Nursery care for Infants, Wee Walkers and Toddlers from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Sunday School classes are offered at 9:00am for children from age two to 5th grade. Children’s Worship and Wee Worship offers a child-friendly worship experience for children age two through 2nd grade during a portion of the adult worship service.
Outreach and Fellowship Opportunities will occur throughout the calendar year, and include Vacation Bible School, Mission and Mercy opportunities, and family and community events. A Communicant’s Class will begin in Fall 2008.
