Our
Denomination
We are thrilled to be a part
of the Presbyterian Church in America denomination! The PCA was
founded in 1973 by a group of visionary pastors and elders who desired
to remain faithful to the historic Reformed faith but who also wanted
to impact our world with a culturally relevant proclamation of the
Gospel. Each year for the past thirty years, we have been one
of the fastest growing Protestant denominations in America. Much
of that growth has occurred by planting vibrant new congregations through
our Mission to North America (MNA) committee. NPC has planted
two daughter congregations in central Ohio and we hope to plant several
more in the future. We are also committed to proclaiming the
Gospel and planting churches worldwide through our organization Mission
to the World (MTW). The link to the PCA website will give you
more in depth information about the denomination, MNA and MTW as well
as many other ministries that the PCA supports.
