Small
Groups
Mission: To equip God’s people to live Christ’s
grace and truth.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts
2:42
The small groups at NPC are basic Christian communities. They
provide the context for discipleship and fellowship. These groups
are made up of 6-12 people and typically meet in group members homes. People
come to know God and to experience His presence, community is developed
and fostered, and people are nurtured, equipped and sent out into the
world to do God’s work. Small groups provide an opportunity
for spiritual intimacy, mutual support, love, service, prayer and growth
in the Christian faith. These groups are led by trained lay-leaders
from the congregation who have felt the call to lead and are given on-going
support by the leadership of the church.
